Building on Hope

I’m excited to be part of Building on Hope’s renovation of Nashua’ PAL’s Youth Safe Haven which offers after school and summer programs for at risk youth.

Approximately 200 volunteers led by area designers and contractors will join together to completely transform the inside and outside of the Safe Haven’s 100 year old building over two weeks in May 2020. As you can imagine it’s a huge project. Planning is well underway.

I’m redoing (aka Feng Shuiing!) the exterior of the building to soften it’s hard edges and to make it warm and welcoming. I’m also creating a sensory garden for toddlers to play in while their mom’s grow vegetables. I’ll be working with a team to bring these spaces to life. Check back here often to see our progress.

Building on Hope is a New Hampshire non-profit. This will be their 6th non-profit to makeover in New Hampshire. Nashua PAL is celebrating their 30th year of education, outreach, activities, and leadership for the youth of Nashua. Renovating this youth outreach building will help optimize space and services to deserving children in Nashua’s inner city.
